E-Consult Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions regard the use of software provided by Mental Health and Wellbeing Services Ltd. including this system, which is currently referred to as 'e-consult'.

Please note that the system may be extended to incorporate other facilities and may undertake name changes if deemed appropriate. If and when major changes occur to the system, then you will be invited to accept or decline any new terms and conditions when associated. Choosing not to accept our terms and conditions will restrict your access to features and facilitates provided by the system or systems.

These terms and conditions extend those defined in our privacy policy which read:

We work within the guidelines of the Data Protection Act 2018 and therefore any information that we obtain that is able to identify you is kept private unless we are legally obliged to disclose this information.

We operate our services in line with those advised by the Information Commissioners Office.

By contacting us, either directly or someone acting on your behalf - for example: a healthcare provider, then this is perceived as permission to use your personal information in accordance with the nature of the enquiry.

At any point you can withdraw your consent for us to hold and process your personal information. However, this may impact upon any services that you are receiving from us.

You are also able task whether we are holding any personal information of yours, if show we are using it; sharing it and for copies of that information.

Although we endeavour to protect any data relevant to you that we collect and store we cannot absolutely guarantee its security and we are limited by the systems that we rely on to process this data.

We always intend to keep the data that we receive to the minimum that enables us to provide the associated service.

Within this system we collect, process and store the following data whilst you are a client of Mental Health and Wellbeing Services Ltd. We store this data until we receive a request to remove the data or at the point of eight years after your last interaction with Mental Health and Wellbeing Services Ltd.

The data that we collect includes

  • Basic Identity Information - so that we can identify you as a client and correspond with you
  • Health Information:
    • Statistical - a small range of health indicators that are collected and submit to us by yourself or a person providing your care
    • Observation and Enquiry - information that you or a person providing your care provide to elaborate on current health status and / or forms an enquiry
  • Payment Information
    • Basic details of the person who made the payment (name and email address)
    • The status or statuses of the payment made

Our response and the result of an enquiry made by you or a person providing your care.
